I mentioned awhile back that I worked at Nordstrom when Topshop first came to our store. It was so exciting and has remained one of my favorite lines. Topshop items continue to clog my online Nord's "wish list," so I decided I would share a few of my favorites with all of you!
Jeans: I just purchased this pair on the left and I have to admit I wear them way too much already! They are honestly so comfortable and the perfect fit (and if you're short, the short length is great). My friend Ashley over at Afternoon Espresso recently invited me to a Designer Fall Preview event at Nordstrom and one of the big trends is 70s inspired fashion. I am already seeing it everywhere - and this of course means flared denim! I mean I don't want to brag or anything, but I kind of called this back here. haha. The last pair I included because I think a pair of black denim is an essential item in any fall wardrobe. Find the perfect pair of black jeans and the possibilities are limitless.
Dresses: As soon as I saw this first dress online, I had to add it to my shopping "wish list." I love the color of the middle option and the simple cut-out detail at the armholes. The last option comes in white and a wonderful army green color. Off-the shoulder tops and dresses have been such a huge trend this season and you can easily transition this dress into fall with some great booties and extra layering pieces!
Blazers: I've said it before, but I can't stress how important a few classic blazers are to your wardrobe. They can easily dress up jeans and a t-shirt and can be layered over a dress to create the perfect work to night look. I wouldn't necessarily categorize this first option as a "blazer," but I absolutely love the shorter, boxy construction. The other two options are more classic and offer endless outfit possibilities!
Coats: Ok, so I am still not ready to think about another winter, but we might as well be prepared and try to look as stylish as possible when the temps begin to drop! A camel wrap coat is going to be an absolute "must-have" this fall and winter. At the Nordstrom Designer Preview event, they highlighted this gorgeous Max Mara option. Beautiful - but the Topshop version below is a bit more budget friendly. You're welcome. I love the colors and the check print in the second picture. The far right is literally called a "blanket coat"....say no more.
Tops: I am sucker for a white top with beautiful laser cutting, lace, or embroidery. The first and last options here are right up my alley! I had to include the middle option because I think this model's face sums up how I feel in the winter - but I would certainly be happy to cozy up in this over-sized hooded sweater!
Bags: I'll be honest - I am not a huge fan of bucket bags, but they were a huge trend for the summer and are starting to grow on me. I think the fist one below is a great option. I love the idea of going with a cheery color like yellow - even in the fall and I think everyone needs a beautiful tan crossbody bag in their accessories' arsenal.
