Hats Off

Welcome to the weekend!  Any exciting plans?  Saturday morning, I am taking a tour of one of the wholesale flower markets in the Strip District.  Working in the events industry, I have been trying to hone my "flower design" skills.  We're really lucky here in Pittsburgh to have Phipp's Conservatory.  They offer some great classes in floral design, landscape and garden design, and sustainable horticulture.  They now offer these field trips...which I am totally excited for...minus the 7:30 AM (on a Saturday!!) start time.  Since we are still having this odd, semi-cold weather, I decided to share another casual weekend look today.  I love lighter wash denim moving into spring and this super destroyed pair from American Eagle is a new favorite.  I layered an over-sized chunky knit sweater with a striped button-up for some extra warmth (and so I could put the winter coat away).  I love the wedge lace-up booties - they are also super comfortable and perfect for transitioning into spring.  And the hat....I had to have it as soon as I saw it!  I am in love with the navy and Brixton hats are wonderful because they come in various sizes.  Enjoy the weekend everyone!
